Long Days

Hello from this rosy moment of late summer sunset! The posts and comments that I have been planning to make have been a little backlogged lately because I have been busy making a new website and new header for this blog. There may still be a few changes that need to be made, but please do have a look if you are interested, and let me know if you find anything that isn't working quite right. I hope that these, the longest days of the year, are treating you very well indeed!

  2. Yes, both header and website are gorgeous. Jodi!

The shorter days and long nights are wonderful indeed though I do miss the white nights of Finland.

  6. Everything I clicked on the website worked; it looks great. Have you heard of the mystery book sculptures in Scotland? That question occurred to me after reading your about page and that article linked to in my rss feed.
    Wishing you a wonderful summer!

  7. Thank you everyone for the nice words!! And I am glad that everything seems to be working!

Marja-Leena, I'll be in Finland in a little over a week's time! I know I won't be there on the very longest day, but I am still really looking forward to it. We are going to head up north a bit too, so that should stretch the days out a bit longer as well (and I suppose the mosquitoes could help lengthen them too, if I've heard right... but oh well!). I will definitely take pictures!

Jennifer, happy summer to you too! The plants are a sort of moss we found in the woods. I don't know the name, unfortunately.

Ane, I had heard about the book sculptures, but it was a while ago... so it's great to see that whoever is making these sculptures has carried on making more of them!
